drone performance

Trailer no. 2

Ornitonaut is an experimental performance on the border between staging and immersive installation, combining the unique technology of a winged drone, interactive objects and a live actor. In several visions, it explores the possibilities of movement and cooperation between a person and a flying machine.

At the edge of a dimly lit hall, the first light flickers on. Wings slice through the air — not quite bird, not quite machine, something in between.
A quiet study of movement and interplay.
Of body and technology.
Of a drone that doesn’t just fly, but dances. And a human who is no longer merely the pilot.

Ornitonaut is an experiment. A search for connection. A choreography not of control, but of shared motion.

We’re drawn to that fragile moment when inspiration turns into construction. When technology stops being a tool and starts becoming a partner. How close can we get before we merge? And what, in that moment, remains human?

We explore boundaries — of freedom and control. Between what we invent, and what may one day outgrow us. Between the urge to create, and the responsibility to understand.
We ask whether the complexity of new inventions truly surpasses the elegance of what already exists — in nature, in silence, in the beat of wings.

Ornitonaut doesn’t offer answers.
It offers a glimpse.
Into a future already tapping at the door.
And with it, a question that grows louder:

Is technology still helping us — or has it begun to decide for us?
